SPRINGFIELD — Monica Sanchez, the live-in girlfriend of mass shooter Victor Nieves, was arrested Wednesday and charged with improper storage of weapons and ammunition used in a horrific double murder-suicide on Aug. 14 that took the life of a grandmother and a 10-year-old girl.
Sanchez, 32, was charged with eight counts of improper storage of a weapon and one count of illegal possession of a large capacity magazine, according to court records.
