SPRINGFIELD — When the five members of the Springfield Chamber Players Clarinet Quartet take to the stage as part of the Sevenars Summer Concerts next month, they will do so with a friend’s legacy on their minds.
The group’s July 27 show, set to take place at the Sevenars concert hall in Worthington known as the Academy, will be dedicated to Mark Auerbach. Auerbach, who wore many hats during his lifetime in support of theater and performing arts, was the director of public relations and marketing for the Springfield Chamber Players — previously known as Musicians of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra or MOSSO — since the organization’s founding in 2021.
