BOSTON – The battle between No. 4 East Boston and No. 5 Monument Mountain boys soccer couldn’t have gotten any closer.
As both teams continued to go back and forth, a first-half goal for the Jets was the difference-maker on Wednesday afternoon, as the Spartans’ season ended in the Division IV state quarterfinals.
