From spooky safety reminders to humorous costume posts, police, fire and EMS departments across the country have taken to social media to share the Halloween spirit.

To celebrate a baby boom among more than 30 officers, the Cobb County Police Department gathered a group of these officers and their little ones, all dressed in costumes to mark the spooky season.
