A 59-year-old man is facing criminal charges after police say he attempted to entice a 15-year-old boy into sex.
John Kelley, of Dudley, is charged with enticement of a child under 16 for sex or violence and assault and battery, Webster Police said in a statement posted to Facebook.
On Oct. 25 around 5 p.m., a 15-year-old boy approached police to report that an older man in a car came up to him in a parking lot and asked him if he was gay and wanted to “hang out,” the statement reads. The boy declined, and the driver asked him if he wanted to meet later in the evening, which he also declined.
