Watch these racing, swimming pigs hog the spotlight daily at Topsfield Fair

You can catch a “swine-sational” show every day at one of the country’s oldest fairs.

Swifty Swine Racing and Swimming Pigs entertains crowds several times a day at a track on Grange Road at the Topsfield Fair.

The race starts by encouraging audience members to shout their best pig call to summon the hogs onto the track.

The pigs — with clever names such as “Taylor Swifty Swine” and “Brad Pig” — then race for the grand prize of an Oreo cookie.

“With many years of experience in fair-time show business, Swifty Swine Racing Pigs deliver a colorful atmosphere and create show bursting with crowd interaction,” the company’s website states. “Spectators always go ‘Hog Wild’ cheering on their favorite racer as they pound the turf at a blazing 15 mph all for a cookie!”

Each race is also benchmarked with an appearance from Swifty the Swimming Pig. Spectators can watch the baby Pot-bellied pig plunge into a tank of water and try to break its swimming record at each performance at the Topsfield Fair.

The Topsfield Fair, at 207 Boston St. in Topsfield on the North Shore, runs until Oct. 14.

Swifty Swine Racing and Swimming Pigs takes place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. each day of the fair. You can check Topsfield Fair’s website for daily hours.
