HOLYOKE — Work at the Veterans Home at Holyoke is progressing smoothly, officials said Friday, noting that a new facility is under construction behind the current one, formerly known as the Soldiers’ Home.
Construction teams are installing iron frameworks for 234 long-term care beds, ensuring a bathroom in each unit, alongside a specialized 30-bed unit for memory care.
