Legendary rock band reuniting for first time in 15 years

Legendary British rock band Oasis is getting back together for first time in 15 years.

The chart-topping group announced a string of live shows scheduled for summer 2025 in a social media post Tuesday with the caption, “This is it, this is happening.”

The details on the shows, which all take place in the United Kingdom, can be found below:

  • July 4/5 — Cardiff Principality Stadium
  • July 11, 12, 19, 20 — Manchester Heaton Park
  • July 25/26, Aug. 2/3 — London Wembley Stadium
  • Aug. 8/9 — Edinburgh Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium
  • Aug. 16/17 — Dublin Croke Park

Tickets go on sale on Saturday at 4 a.m. EST.

This reunion comes 30 years after Oasis skyrocketed to fame with the release of their debut album, “Definitely Maybe” in 1994. The album became the fastest-selling debut album in British history at the time, Today reported.

Oasis, made up of brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, followed that success with “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?” in 1995.

The project was certified quadruple platinum in the U.S. and produced the band’s signature song “Wonderwall.”

Other notable songs by the band include “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Stop Crying Your Heart Out,” “Champagne Supernova” and “Live Forever.”

Oasis released five more studio albums, with their last project being “Dig Out Your Soul” in 2008. However, the band broke up after a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris in August 2009, according to the BBC.

More information about tickets can be found on Oasis’ website.
