Brian Hoyer, ex-Patriots QB, loses 13th straight game as starter; How other former NE players fared

Brian Hoyer continued his losing streak as a starting quarterback when he lost his 13th consecutive game Sunday in the Las Vegas Raiders’ 30-12 defeat to the Chicago Bears. The veteran QB was filling in for the injured Jimmy Garoppolo and finished the game completing 17 of his 32 passes for 129 yards and 2 interceptions.

The Bears were 1-5 entering Sunday’s contest and were without quarterback Justin Fields. But Hoyer just couldn’t get anything going and was replaced in the fourth quarter by rookie Aidan O’Connell — who finished the loss going 10-of-13 for 75 yards, a touchdown and an interception.

Hoyer’s 13-game losing streak spans five teams, including the Bears.
