Week 7 had some of the top teams continue to roll, namely the Kansas City Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars.
For the Chiefs, it’s six straight after beating the Los Angeles Chargers. No one has been able to shut down Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, much less slow them down.
As for the Jaguars, they kicked their win streak up to four games, slipping past New Orleans.
Some of the other top teams are going in the other direction.

The Buffalo Bills have now lost three straight, after looking invincible beating the Miami Dolphins Week 4. On Sunday, the one-win Patriots took them down and may have resurrected their season.
The 49ers, meanwhile, after opening the season with five straight wins, have now lost two-in-a-row after the Minnesota Vikings took them down Monday night.
In the marquee game of the week, the Philadelphia Eagles tamed the Miami Dolphins.
Beyond that, six teams enjoyed a bye week.
Here’s the Power Rankings heading into Week 8
1. Kansas City Chiefs (6-1): Six straight wins. Patrick Mahomes to Travis Kelce is getting ridiculous. And yes, Taylor Swift was there.
2. Philadelphia Eagles (6-1): With Tua Tagovailoa in town, Jalen Hurts won the battle of former Alabama quarterbacks.
3. Baltimore Ravens (5-2): The greatness of Lamar Jackson was on full display against the Lions.
4. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-2): Four straight wins for the Jags with Trevor Lawrence gutting out a knee injury Thursday night. Although, it couldn’t have been that bad. He led the team in rushing.
5. Miami Dolphins (5-2): They’ve been able to beat the stuffing out of the bad teams, but still haven’t beaten a good team. Just saying.
6. San Francisco 49ers (5-2): The seemingly unbeatable Brock Purdy, who started his NFL career with 10 straight wins, has now dropped two in-a-row.
7. Dallas Cowboys (4-2): They hit the bye week trying to get a handle on their Jekyll & Hyde existence. They’ve been both great and awful.
8. Detroit Lions (5-2): They were dominated up front by the Ravens on both sides of the ball. That can’t make Dan Campbell happy.
9. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2): The Men of Steel love their bye weeks. That’s eight straight wins for Mike Tomlin’s team on the first game back.
10. Buffalo Bills (4-3): Their offense hasn’t been the same since blowing out Miami Week 4. And that’s put offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey on the hot seat.
11. Cleveland Browns (4-2): Multiple sacks. Multiple forced fumbles. A blocked field goal. Myles Garrett, take a bow.
12. Seattle Seahawks (4-2): Not the most impressive win, with three turnovers, but they’ll take it, especially with the Niners losing.
13. Cincinnati Bengals (3-3): It’s stunning to see Joe Burrow & Co. with the least explosive offense in the NFL. Not sure a bye week will help them fix that.
14. New York Jets (3-3): Can they really continue to survive without Aaron Rodgers? We’ll soon find out when they return from their bye week.
15. LA Rams (3-4): Brett Maher missed two field goals and an extra point. Doing the math, that’s seven points in a seven-point loss.
16. Atlanta Falcons (4-3): Desmond Ridder lost three red-zone fumbles. And by some miracle, the Falcons still managed to win.
17. Tampa Bay Bucs (3-3): They need to find a run game, so they don’t have to rely on Baker Mayfield so much.
18. Houston Texans (3-3): With three wins, they’ve already exceeded expectations. DeMeco Ryans is already among the early candidates for Coach of the Year.
19. Minnesota Vikings (3-4): Who said Kirk Cousins can’t win on prime-time TV? He almost single-handedly took down the 49ers Monday night.
20. LA Chargers (2-4): Start the clock on Brandon Staley. This team is too good to be this bad. Although that’s been a common refrain the past few years.
21. Indianapolis Colts (3-4): Gardner Minshew lit up Cleveland’s defense, and has nothing to show for it.
22. Washington Commanders (3-4): Not being able to beat the beatable teams on the schedule is a problem for Ron Rivera.
23. Las Vegas Raiders (3-4): After a stellar effort coming on in relief the previous week against the Patriots, Brian Hoyer turned back into a pumpkin.
24. New Orleans Saints (3-4): Tight end Foster Moreau had the game-tying touchdown in his grasp on the final drive against the Jags, but couldn’t hold on. And so it goes for the Saints.
25. New England Patriots (2-5): Finally, a signature win for Mac Jones, leading a game-winning drive in the final minutes to beat Buffalo. It’s been a long time coming.
26. New York Giants (2-5): After winning a game with Tyrod Taylor, might the G-Men be wondering why the heck they paid Daniel Jones $160 million?
27. Tennessee Titans (2-4): Will they start selling off parts before next Tuesday’s trade deadline? With a new front office, it’s a good bet.
28. Green Bay Packers (2-4): Jordan Love has now thrown picks in four straight games. The last time a Packers quarterback did that was a decade ago. And his name wasn’t Aaron Rodgers.
29. Denver Broncos (2-5): It’s a lot easier to win when the defense isn’t hemorrhaging points to the other team.
30. Chicago Bears (2-5): Tyson Bagent, a rookie quarterback from Division II Shepherd University, is the newest hero in the Windy City.
31. Arizona Cardinals (1-6): The only suspense left is whether the Cards activate Kyler Murray to the active roster. His 21-day window is open.
32. Carolina Panthers (0-6): They’re crossing their fingers hoping Bryce Young comes back a better quarterback with the aid of a bye week.
