9/11 22nd Anniversary: What Mass. pols had to say about it

As the nation paused to remember the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks in New York City, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania, Massachusetts’ elected officials paid tribute to the fallen and to the heroism of first responders who stepped into harm’s way.

Here is a sampling of what they had to say.

U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.: “On today’s anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, we remember the lives lost, and we honor the brave first responders who put their lives on the line. We will never forget,” Warren wrote on Twitter.
