WESTFIELD — Ciara Barber, the 8-year-old from Worcester who is on a mission to visit all 351 city and town halls in Massachusetts with her mom this summer, arrived in Westfield on Thursday to a warm welcome, and a designation as Westfield Mayor for the Day.
Ciara and Blue Barber had visited 198 cities and towns as of Thursday. City Clerk Kaitlyn Bruce caught wind of the story in July, as Ciara has been sharing her trips on Twitter, and reached out to make sure Ciara’s visit to Westfield was full of fun.
