5 tasty things you can only get at The Lineup food hall in Boston

Boston’s newest food hall has lined up five fast-casual dining options that diners can only find at the downtown venue.

The Lineup, which opened on the ground floor of the Winthrop Center on Federal Street in downtown Boston on Wednesday, Jan. 17, is the brainchild of Michelin-starred Chef John Fraser.

The food hall lets people either sit down to eat or take their food to go. From smash burgers and thin-crust pizza to Greek salads and smoothies, The Lineup boasts some of the best fast-casual options in the city.

So now that your stomach is growling, here are the five dining concepts you can only get at The Lineup:

Ariana

Mexi-Cali concept that offers vegetarian and vegan options, Ariana lets you customize bowls and burritos to your liking. MassLive tried the Red Rice and Lentil Bowl that was made with sweet potato and chorizo-spiced tofu.

IRIS Mezze

Get your Greek on at this stand that serves Greek small plates such as salad bowls, spreads and desserts. MassLive tried the traditional Greek salad bowl with Greek yogurt tzatziki, but you can also do up your salad with hummus or roasted red pepper feta.

Gatto Pazzo

A fast-casual artisanal Neapolitan pizza stand that focuses on all things classic Italian from pizzas and sandwiches to salads and desserts or “dolce.” The Gatto Pazzo pizza is a must-try, complete with shrimp, lemon, Caciocavallo, scallions with a golden vodka sauce.

Big Grin

A burger stand that offers prime burgers, buns and desserts. MassLive tried the Big Grin burger made with a Black Angus beef patty, tomatoes, pickles, onions, American cheese and Grin sauce on a herb butter-toasted potato bun. Want even more? Double up for a second patty. The duck fat waffle tots also make a great addition as well as the Dimple Dog.

Day Shift

A beverage kiosk with coffee, teas, lattes and smoothies. Day Shift also has several breakfast and lunch options and features a doughnut of the day each day.

Fraser also plans on opening a new restaurant to the public in spring 2024, according to a press release. But for now, you can try his exclusive offerings at The Lineup is located at 115 Federal St.

The food hall is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
