Three people from Rhode Island could face charges in connection with the death of a Patriots fan at Gillette Stadium on Sept. 17, according to the Foxborough Police Department.
Dale Mooney, a 53-year-old New Hampshire man, died following the September Sunday-night game against the Miami Dolphins, police said.
Mooney had been watching the game from the 300s tier. Officials initially said he’d had an “apparent medical incident,” and was brought to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, where he was pronounced dead just before midnight.
