Worcester man wins $200 a week for life lottery prize in this $2 game

A man from Worcester won $200 a week for the rest of his life after he bought a winning lottery ticket for $2.

Michael Anable, of Worcester, won $200 a week for life from a winning “$200 A Week For Life” scratch ticket. The game was released on Feb. 18, and still has seven grand prizes remaining as of April 4.

Anable chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $160,000 before taxes when he claimed the ticket on March 31.

The Worcester man bought his winning ticket in Springfield, at a shop called Corners Convenience located at 273 Hancock St. The store will receive a $2,080 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
