A woman was killed and a man was seriously injured after a shooting in a Worcester apartment building Thursday night, police said.
Police went to a Brookside Avenue address at around 6:21 p.m. Thursday for a report of possible gunshots. There, officers discovered a man and woman with gunshot wounds, Worcester Police wrote in a statement posted to Facebook. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man was brought to a hospital with serious injuries.
