WMass residents who lost their medical center want to claw back trust funds

One of Cynthia Allen Bourcier’s prized photos shows 28 people in 1953 outside her home in Ware, a dwelling her husband’s relatives bought for $50 and moved to make way for the Quabbin Reservoir.

That history is notable, but something else was on her mind Monday. “Everybody in that picture was born at Mary Lane Hospital.”
