Over the past couple weeks, MassLive asked boys hockey coaches and athletic directors to reflect on their team — and specifically the unsung heroes that make their program run successfully.
For some coaches, it’s the athlete who has overcome adversity and led the team with positivity. For others, it’s the player who is completely new to their position, but competes without complaint.
