SPRINGFIELD — A group gathered in Kate Irwin’s driveway on Wednesday evening, rallying for her as she and her two kids faced eviction from the home she has lived for 17 years. It was dark, but the group had candles for light at the vigil organized by Springfield No One Leaves.
Earlier this month, Irwin was served a notice that she would be moved out by the constable on Dec. 19 from her Olney Avenue home that was foreclosed on.
