On Saturday at 3:37 a.m. a winter weather advisory was released by the National Weather Service valid from 8 p.m. until Sunday 11 a.m. for Berkshire County.
The weather service comments, “Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations of a light glaze to around one tenth of an inch.”
“Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are possible,” comments the weather service. “Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible power outages.”
