The reliability of GE Vernova’s offshore wind turbines is being called in question yet again after another blade failure was announced thousands of miles away from Nantucket, in Dogger Bank, U.K. last week.
The failure is the third in the last three months involving GE Vernova’s 13-megawatt Haliade-X turbine blades, including the incident last month when pieces of a broken blade washed onto Nantucket’s south shore, closing beaches for two days.
