Where to buy Celtics Eastern Conference Finals tickets before opponent is decided

The Boston Celtics are moving on to the Eastern Conference Finals and although their opponent hasn’t been decided, fans can still shop for tickets.

The Celtics defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 113-98 in Game 5 on Wednesday to wrap up the Eastern Conference Semifinals series. This marks the third straight season the C’s have qualified for the East Finals. Boston could face either the New York Knicks or the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals and they could start Sunday or Tuesday. Fans can shop for tickets online now using reliable third-party ticket vendors such as StubHub, VividSeats and SeatGeek.

The NBA officially released two schedule scenarios for the team based on the outcomes of the still ongoing series. The Knicks currently lead the Pacers 3-2 in the other Eastern Conference Semifinals with Game 6 on Friday night in Indiana. The Denver Nuggets lead the series against the Minnesota Timberwolves 3-2 and could close it out with a win in game 6 on Thursday night.

If the Knicks and Nuggets win Game 6 to clinch their spots in the next round, the Celtics will host Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Knicks on Sunday afternoon with a 3:30 p.m. start. However, if the Pacers or Timberwolves force a Game 7 against the Knicks or Nuggets respectively, the Celtics won’t host Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals until Tuesday at the TD Garden.

As of Thursday, May 16, the cheapest tickets for game 1 in Boston, MA are $301 on StubHub, $273 on VividSeats and $252 on SeatGeek.
