WESTFIELD – With a goal of helping homeowners transition to energy-efficient heat pumps, Westfield Gas & Electric has launched an innovative financing piloting program, called “Home Plus” to increase the overall energy efficiency of the homes for those who qualify for the program.
“I’m really excited about it,” said WG&E General Manager Tom Flaherty about the program. “It represents our commitment to making clean, energy efficient heating and cooling solutions accessible to Westfield residents.”
Flaherty said to think of the new program as a “friendly loan from your local neighborhood utility.”
