WESTFIELD – The Westfield Technical Academy boys basketball team got downright defensive about its style of play in the Coaches vs. Cancer Challenge finals Friday night – and it paid off in the end.
Westfield Tech held St. Mary’s to just four points in the first quarter as the Tigers opened the championship contest with a 23-4 run en route to a 46-42 victory Friday evening at Westfield Vocational Technical Academy High School.
