LONGMEADOW – Westfield Little League Baseball has flexed its collective muscle this summer, first with the 10-Year-Olds and 11-Year-Olds winning District 2 championships, and now with the 12-Year-Olds claiming another title for the Whip City.
Timely hitting and a complete game, four-hitter from starting pitcher Collin Taylor resulted in a District 2 championship for the Westfield Little League Baseball 12-Year-Olds on Tuesday night, July 9 at Strople Field in Longmeadow. Westfield won, 6-3.
