WESTFIELD – Four years ago, Westfield’s Olivia Hadla recorded her 1,000th career point for the Bombers girls basketball team. Whether or not she knew it then, Hadla would enjoy another banner day.
Hadla became just the 19th player in Westfield State University women’s basketball history to reach 1,000 points for her collegiate career. She finished 5-of-11 from 3-point range to net 20 points in the Owls’ 82-64 win over Salem State on Wednesday night at the Woodward Center.
