WESTFIELD – Assessment and Accountability Director Christine Shea gave an overview to the School Committee on Dec. 2 of test score results and enrollment data in the Westfield Public Schools for 2024, highlighting good news and target goals for the district in the coming year. As of Oct. 1, enrollment in the schools is 4,773.
Shea said the state has asked schools to use 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic, for a five-year comparison. Across the state, scores have dipped since 2019, and many schools have the goal of getting back to pre-pandemic numbers.
