WILBRAHAM — Westfield gymnastics claimed the Western Mass. regional title on Sunday afternoon, earning a total score of 141.100 to take home the championship. Hampshire Regional followed as runner-up with 138.850, and Agawam rounded out the top three at 135.475.
The event, held at the All-American Gymnastics & Dance Academy, drew an energetic crowd as fans packed the gym and hallways, eager to see which program would emerge on top. The championship featured the region’s top five teams, including Westfield, Hampshire, Agawam, Minnechaug, and Chicopee Comp, with standout athletes such as G. Pica-Smith of Hampshire and Annika Van Oostveen from Westfield.
