WESTFIELD – The Westfield and Southwick Regional high school girls soccer teams played for more than 68 minutes – and nothing was settled in this fast becoming bitter rivalry. It wasn’t until some unsettled play out in front of the net led to a Bombers goal that this game was then quickly decided.
Westfield scored the game’s only two goals in the final 11:58 of a closely played, physical contest to defeat Southwick 2-0 on senior night Monday at Bullens Field.
