WEST SPRINGFIELD – Four different players scored for the Westfield High School boys ice hockey team but it was 32 shots that didn’t find the back of the net which proved to make all the difference for the Bombers.
Westfield junior goalie Evan Mastroianni made 32 saves to help the Bombers escape West Springfield with a 4-3 win in a season opener Thursday night at the Olympia Ice Center.
