PITTSFIELD – Strong pitching, 12 hits, patience at the plate, and solid defense resulted in a 12-5 victory, the series win over Pittsfield and the Western Massachusetts Babe Ruth championship for the Westfield Babe Ruth 13-Year-Olds on July 10. Westfield hosts the 2024 New England Babe Ruth Regional Tournament later this month at Bullens Field.
Like in Game 1, Pittsfield was first to get on the board, scoring one run on a walk and two singles.
