WEST SPRINGFIELD — After opening the season with a stretch of five consecutive road games, No. 1 West Springfield boys soccer returned home on Wednesday for the Terriers’ home-opener on Sept. 17.
The Terriers did not make their fans wait long, scoring three goals in the first 27 minutes of the game en route to securing a 5-1 victory over the Hurricanes.
