A destructive nor’easter is hitting Cape Cod Monday, causing whiteout conditions, dangerous wind gusts and flooding.
Gov. Maura Healey declared a state of emergency in Massachusetts ahead of the nor’easter. Many travel restrictions and cancellations affecting highways, trains, boats and flights have been put in place, and most school districts across the state have canceled school on Monday.
Live cams around the area are capturing the dangerous storm, including the Chatham fish pier and Cape Cod Canal. Anchor In also provides a live cam outside its hotel.
