SOUTHWICK – With Christmas trees coming down after the holidays, instead of pulling them into the backyard, Lindsay Hale hopes people will consider bringing them to help feed the goats, pigs, and sheep at Firefly Fields Farm.
“The trees are a great treat for the animals in the winter when natural forage is limited. It’s also a great source for vitamins and minerals,” Hale said, who has been running her farm on Babb Road for the last six years.
