On Tuesday at 3:18 a.m. an updated dense fog advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 11 a.m. for Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket counties.
The weather service adds, “Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.”
“Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous,” describes the weather service. “If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.”
