Bancroft scored twice against the Flyers’ Np. 1 goalie as Boston came from behind to beat Philadelphia, 4-3 at XFinity Mobile Arena on Saturday.

Boston went south with only four likely roster locks at forward — Mikey Eyssimont, Mark Kastelic, Pavel Zacha and Sean Kuraly —dressed. Bancroft, the 24-year-old prospect who signed out of Cornell in the spring, took advantage of the opportunity.
Johnny Beecher, who is fighting an uphill battle for a roster spot scored the other Bruins’ goal.
Hampus Lindholm made his preseason debut, his first game since being injured last year. He played 21:21 in front of Michael DiPietro, who made 24 saves.
The Bruins and Flyers play again in Boston Monday.
