U.S. House committee hits Harvard with subpoenas in antisemitism probe

The chairperson of U.S. House committee has issued subpoenas to three Harvard University officials, saying they’ve failed to produce “priority documents” related to an ongoing investigation of how the Ivy League institution is dealing with incidents of antisemitism on campus.

The subpoenas, issued Friday, to Harvard President Dr. Alan Garber, senior fellow Penny Pritzker and Harvard management company chief executive officer N. P. Narvekar, come despite the university meeting the Wednesday deadline set by the House Education and Workforce Committee to share the documents.
