WESTFIELD – A large group of officers in the Westfield Police Department recently made a financial donation to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation with money raised during the annual No Shave November fundraising campaign, but this year the fundraiser let officers grow whiskers for a little longer than 30 days.
“We started it at the beginning of last year,” said Officer Jared Rowe about the annual whisker-growing fundraising campaign which nearly half of the department’s officers participated in this year.
“I’m so proud of these guys,” said Rowe, who has organized the effort for six years now.
