After Sunday’s blowout, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has improved to a 7-0 career record against the New England Patriots.
According to CBS, that’s the best record any active quarterback has against another NFL team.
After the game, the 26-year-old quarterback was asked about extending his unbeaten streak against New England.
“It’s great,” Tagovailoa said. “Any time you can find a win against a divisional opponent. It’s not my win. It’s a team win. So I’ll leave that at them.”

Like the turkeys that will sit on tables across the nation in a few days, Tagovailoa carved up the Patriots once again. He finished the day 29-of-40 passing for 317 yards and 4 touchdowns, good for a passer rating of 128.9.
It’s not the first time Tagovailoa has gone off against New England. During last season’s matchup in October, Tagovailoa threw for 324 yards and 3 touchdowns — but did throw a pick.
Heading into the game, Tagovailoa had completed 68.3% of his passes for 216.5 yards per game, 7 touchdowns and four interceptions in his career against New England.
Tagovailoa was inactive for one game against New England as a rookie in 2020 and missed a 2022 matchup due to injury. The Dolphins lost both games.
