Titans QB Ryan Tannehill leaves game vs. Ravens with ankle injury

Ryan Tannehill tried to power through the pain but eventually was taken to the locker room.

In the third quarter of the Tennessee Titans’ game against the Baltimore Ravens in London, Tannehill took a hit from defensive end Justin Madubuike. The quarterback’s foot appeared to get caught underneath Madubuike and Tannehill came up limping.

Tannehill remained in the game and led the Titans on a scoring drive to cut the Titans’ deficit to 18-6. The QB got his ankle taped up after the drive.

The pain apparently caught up with Tannehill who limped to the sideline in the fourth quarter and was taken down the tunnel for X-rays on a cart after his first pass. The Titans announced he won’t return to the game.

Prior to his injury, Tannehill completed 50% of his passes (8-of-16) for 76 yards and an interception.

Malik Willis replaced Tannehill at quarterback.
