SPRINGFIELD — Nearly three years after James Hillman’s death following an incident in a cell at a Springfield lock-up for juvenile offenders, a trial for his alleged killer has not yet been scheduled.
According to court records, Hillman, 60, a veteran youth services worker, was settling 15-year-old inmate David Burgos into a room after a “time out” following an outburst in a classroom at the building.
