Roughly 50 years have passed since Erin Cummings beat cancer as a high school student.
It was a victory worth celebrating. But little did Cummings know her teenage clash with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, among the most common cancers for adolescents and young adults, would mark only the first round in a lifelong spiral of health issues — including multiple other rounds of cancer.
