When she was 60 years old, Marla BB found herself in the frigid cold of Alaska with only the company of her 12 Alaskan huskies.
Now, turning 65 this month, BB has recounted that journey – a three-week trek, 750 miles across the frozen Yukon River to Nome in temperatures that dropped as low as 60 degrees below 0 – in a new, illustrated book, “Our Serum Run Story by the T’s, U’s, V’s & Me!”
