This is why Charles Luster wants to serve on Worcester’s City Council

Charles Luster, the co-founder of the Worcester-based organization the Uncommonwealth Group, says he intends to run for city councilor-at-large in next year’s municipal election.

Luster, 58, who loves on Cataract Street, said his decision to run for office comes from a desire to improve the future of the city’s residents, especially its children. He told MassLive Worcester needs help improving public safety, addressing the causes of homelessness and fighting food insecurity.
