
A $1 million lottery prize was sold at a lottery and doughnut shop in Massachusetts, with the winner coming forward to claim the prize on Thursday.
The $1 million prize was from the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “777″ scratch ticket game, which costs $10 per ticket to play. There are still three $1 million prizes remaining to be claimed in the game as of March 22.
The winning ticket was sold in Attleboro from a lottery and doughnut shop called Vista Donuts.
Overall, there were at least 516 lottery prizes worth $600 or more won or claimed in Massachusetts on Thursday, including 13 in Springfield, 26 in Worcester and 38 in Boston.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
So far, the three largest lottery prizes won in Massachusetts in 2024 were all $4 million prizes. One was claimed on Tuesday, Jan. 16, another was claimed on Tuesday, Feb. 27 and the third was claimed on Tuesday, March 19.
