This Cumberland Farms in Mass. sold a winning $100,000 lottery ticket

A winning $100,000 lottery ticket was sold at a Cumberland Farms gas station in Massachusetts, and the winner came forward on Monday to claim their prize.

The $100,000 prize was from a $2 scratch ticket game released in 2024 called “$100,000 Winning 7s.” There’s just one $100,000 grand prize left to be claimed in the game as of April 1.

The winning ticket was sold at a Cumberland Farms gas station in Swansea.

A winning $1 million ticket was also claimed Monday from the “$1,000,000 Stacks of Cash” game, and was sold at an Irving Oil station in Springfield.

Additionally, someone claimed a lottery prize worth $200 a week for life from the “$200 A Week For Life” scratch ticket game on Monday. The winning ticket was also sold in Springfield, at a shop called Corners Convenience.

A $100,000 prize was also claimed Monday from the “Diamond Deluxe” game. The ticket was sold at West Main Gas in Hyannis.

Overall, at least 863 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Monday, including 24 in Springfield, 28 in Worcester and 88 in Boston.

The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.

So far, the largest lottery prize won in Massachusetts this year was worth $1 million a year for life.

The prize was from the lottery’s “Lifetime Millions” scratch ticket game. The winner claimed their prize through a trust on July 10, and opted to receive a one-time payment of $15.4 million.
