These 13 Cape Cod restaurants are the summer 2024 top picks from Resy

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of summer and that means trips to Cape Cod for many Bay Staters and New Englanders.

Resy, a restaurant reservation platform, has 13 restaurants on its “Hit List” guide to summer 2024 restaurant recommendations on Cape Cod.

The decade-old hospitality technology platform connects restaurants to diners, who use the site for information and access to different restaurant experiences and booking reservations, according to Resy.

The 13 restaurants in Resy’s summer 2024 Cape Cod recommendation roster are:

  1. Harvest Gallery at 776 Main St. in Dennis
  2. Tiger Ramen at 587 Main St. in Falmouth
  3. Cape Sea Grille at 31 Sea St. in Harwich
  4. The Beacon Room at 23 West Road in Orleans
  5. Five Bays Bistro at 825 Main St. in Osterville, Barnstable
  6. Ciro & Sal’s at 4 Kiley Court in Provincetown
  7. The Red Inn at 15 Commercial St. in Provincetown
  8. Liz’s Cafe, Anybody’s Bar at 31 Bradford St. in Provincetown
  9. Freemans P’town at 333 Commercial St. in Provincetown
  10. Jimmy’s Hideaway at 179 Commercial St. in Provincetown
  11. Blackfish at 17 Truro Center Road in Truro
  12. Dunbar House Tea Room & Wine Bar at 1 Water St. in Sandwich
  13. Fisherman’s View at 20 Freezer Road in Sandwich

The list is largely similar to its summer 2023 list with recurring entries for Harvest Gallery, Cape Sea Grille, The Red Inn, Jimmy’s Hideaway, Tiger Ramen, The Beacon Room, Five Bays Bistro and the Dunbar House Tea & Wine Bar.

The new additions include Ciro & Sal’s, described by Resy as having “no shortage of charm, whether you’re seated within a main dining room overlooking an outdoor garden, a wine cellar centered around a brick fireplace, or the aforementioned garden itself with a heated gazebo.”

Also new to the list this year is Liz’s Cafe, Anybody’s Bar, which Resy said “meshes a nautical, ye-olde interior with a menu heavy on local seafood … plus creative cocktails.”

For Freemans P’town, Resy said it “strives to create a more cultivated attitude,” with an “elegant interior,” and politely asks patrons not to dine in traditional beach-going clothing such as flip-flops and tank tops.

Resy also said of Blackfish that this former blacksmith shop converted into a restaurant has a “locally focused menu with buttermilk-fired Wellfleet oysters, heritage pork chops with vinegar potatoes [and] tuna Bolognese over freshly made pappardelle and mascarpone cheese.”
