Those interested in trying fun fair food but have dietary restrictions are still in luck at one of the largest fairs in the country.
The Big E, which lasts from Sept. 13-29, has at least 10 vendors offering vegan foods.
Some of the options include cupcakes, tacos and curry.

LuAnn’s Bakery and Cafe, known for its pickle cupcake, offers a vegan and gluten-free quintuple chocolate cupcake, which MassLive tried in 2023.
“The vegan and gluten-free quintuple chocolate cupcake is a nice and moist, but albeit dense, chocolate cupcake with chocolate chips baked inside, chocolate frosting. and drizzled chocolate on top,” MassLive reporter Juliet Schulman-Hall wrote. “I don’t think you’ll be craving more sweets after trying their cupcakes.”
