HOLYOKE — The city of Holyoke has been granted over $7 million for hydroelectric projects from the U.S. Department of Energy.
Funding will go toward projects like canal dike repairs, gatehouse operator upgrades, Hadley Falls rehabilitation, plunge pool repairs, rubber bladder replacements and study of the short-nosed sturgeon.
