WESTFIELD – For the 50 or so people who were queuing up Wednesday for the grand opening of Sushis Thrift, the city’s newest business, the freezing temperatures didn’t deter those hardy souls looking for a bargain.
“We were not prepared,” said the store’s co-owner Kseniya Covileac, while smiling and shaking her head with amazement about the steady stream of customers who arrived at the store moments after it opened.
